Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Vyraj. By creating an account you accept them.

This English version is the authoritative one. Where a translation differs from it, this text governs.

Who can use Vyraj

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• One account per person. Do not register on behalf of someone else.
• The details you give about yourself must be true — in particular your date of birth and your photographs.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Vyraj. None of the following is permitted, and an account that posts it is removed:

• Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualisation of a person under 18. This is reported to the authorities, not merely deleted.
• Threats, harassment, stalking, or repeated unwanted contact.
• Hate speech or incitement against people for their nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or political views.
• Pornography and sexually explicit imagery.
• Violence, gore, or content glorifying either.
• Someone else’s personal data published without their agreement — addresses, documents, phone numbers, place of work.
• Photographs of another person passed off as your own, and impersonation generally.
• Spam, advertising, fraud, and solicitation of money under false pretences.

Every profile, post and comment can be reported from inside the app, and any user can be blocked. Reports are reviewed and acted on, ordinarily within 24 hours.

Content found to breach this section is removed and the account behind it is suspended or deleted. For the gravest cases — anything involving a minor, or a credible threat to someone’s safety — the account is removed immediately and without warning.

Your safety

Vyraj shows people who are geographically near you. Distance is deliberately reported in broad bands rather than exact figures, and your point is snapped to a grid before it is ever stored.

Showing your place on the map is off unless you turn it on. If you do turn it on, understand what it means: your position is visible to everyone using the app, it stays there, and anyone can observe it repeatedly over time.

We do not verify identity. Treat anyone you meet here as a stranger, meet in public first, and tell someone where you are going.

What you post

What you write and photograph stays yours. You give us only what is needed to run the service: to store your content, show it to other users of Vyraj, and produce the smaller copies used in lists and the feed.

That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups until they expire, and material we are required to keep for a report or a legal obligation.

Post only what is yours to post. Do not upload other people’s photographs, and do not upload a photograph of another person without their agreement.

Ending it

You can delete your account from inside the app at any time, without asking us. You then have 30 days to change your mind; after that everything is erased.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms. Where we can do so safely, we say why.

What we do not promise

Vyraj is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, that you will meet anyone, or that other people are who they say they are.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
